Night of Lights is back with festive lights, more activities and more community fun! Formal activities for this regional holiday attraction will take place in December with the lights on display all month long for this walking event.
$10 Suggested Donation Per Vehicle Upon Entry for Weekend Activities, Cash Only.
All donations go to Greenmead Historical Village.
Greenmead Historical Village is located at Newburgh and Eight Mile Roads (20501 Newburgh Road, Livonia, MI 48152).

Saturday, December 13
Grinch Night
- Tonight we welcome the Grinch and Cindi Loo for a meet and greet and photos!
- Santa & Mrs. Claus will be ready to hear holiday wishes and pose for photos inside the Friends Meeting House - sorry no pets inside the buildings.
- Stop by the Newburg Church 5-7 p.m. for some live holiday music as we welcome Lily Bowen.
- The Newburg School will have crafts, games and activities for the kids to keep spirits bright.
- We'll also have street hockey, cornhole, holiday shopping at the A. J. Geer Store, and the Bungalow open for touring.
Sunday, December 14
Lights, Sirens & Heroes
- Tonight features our hometown heroes, the Livonia Police and Fire Departments, and Wayne County Mounted Sheriff's Unit
- Spiderman and Spider Gwen will be at the Alexander Blue House for visits and photos
- Visit Santa and Mrs. Claus inside the Friends Meeting House to share your holiday wishes and take a family photo - sorry no pets inside the buildings..
- From 5-7 p.m., stop by the Newburg Church to hear Jack "Elvis" Fisher.
- We'll also have our children's activities in the Newburg School and games in the parking lot. Don’t forget to do some holiday shopping in the A.J. Geer Store.
Saturday, December 20
Frozen Night
- Come dressed in your princess and prince attire as we welcome Anna and Elsa to Greenmead!
- Watch a live ice sculpting to see a block of ice transform into Olaf beginning at 4 p.m.!
- Of course, Santa and Mrs. Claus will be back inside the Friends Meeting House to share last-minute holiday wishes and pose for photos - sorry no pets inside the buildings.
- Your holiday cheer is sure to grow after singing along with HarmonyTown in the Newburg Church 5-7 p.m.
- The Newburg School will have crafts, games and activities for the kids to keep spirits bright.
- We'll also have street hockey, cornhole, refreshments for purchase, and holiday shopping at the A.J. Geer Store.
- Make sure to stop by the Bungalow for a tour and listen to our player piano play your favorite holiday tunes!
Sunday, December 21
Holiday Magic
- Stop by the Alexander Blue House for a magic show by Baffling Bill.
- Tonight is your final chance to visit Santa and Mrs. Claus inside the Friends Meeting House for your family photos and last-minute holiday wishes - sorry no pets inside the buildings.
- We'll also have our children's activities in the Newburg School, and games and street hockey in the parking lot.
- Musical guest Jack “Elvis” Fisher will be performing 5-7 p.m. in the Newburg Church, and the A.J. Geer Store and Bungalow will be open for touring.







Street Hockey & Cornhole
Kids and adults alike can have some outdoor fun playing a game of street hockey and cornhole.

Crafts in Newburg School
Visit the historical Newburg Schoolhouse to see the inside of the 19th century building and create some fun holiday crafts!
